Diploma Trainee (Technical) – (Mining / Chemical/ Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Electronics and Instrumentation.
Educational qualification :
3 years Diploma in Mining / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from an Institute recognised by AICTE or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates and 60% marks in aggregate for others.

Pay scale : Rs.25000-68000 / S-1 Grade
Maximum age : 26 years
Examination fee : Non-refundable Application Fee of ₹ 472/
Mode of selection:
The mode of selection will be consists of written test and skill test.
The skill test will be only qualifying in nature.
Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the written test only. The merit list for final selection will be prepared on the basis of performance in the written test.
IREL 2022 Examination pattern of Written test:
Computer Based Test (CBT) shall be held for the Diploma Trainees. Duration of the test will be 120 minutes. There will be no negative marking.
Paper 1 (100 marks)
Section-A:
Subject Knowledge would consist of questions for testing basic knowledge of General Engineering.
Section-B:
The knowledge of specific discipline.
Paper 2 (50 marks)
General Knowledge, Numerical ability, Reasoning ability and General English.
